Group Coachings and Workshops

Professional development does not take place solely on an individual basis, but always involves interaction with others and takes place within the context of an organisation’s framework. Women in particular often benefit from contextualising their own experiences within a professionally facilitated setting, broadening their perspectives and reflecting on their development through dialogue.

Group formats and workshops create space to tackle professional issues together, such as career development, taking on a leadership role, well-being at work, or shaping a professional role that is sustainable in the long term. In doing so, I take a strengths-based approach, drawing on insights from positive psychology and a systemic view of the interplay between the individual, their role, the organisation and societal expectations.

Workshop: Career Assessment

Many women reach a point in their careers where their previous goals, roles or ways of working no longer feel like a given. The desire for personal development is palpable, yet it is often unclear which direction the next step should take.

This workshop offers a structured framework for taking a nuanced look at one’s own career situation. We identify interests, values, experiences and individual strengths, whilst also consciously focusing on resources, motivation and the conditions for well-being at work. Insights from positive psychology help us to approach development not merely from a sense of deficiency, but from an understanding of what empowers people and enables them to work healthily in the long term.

Working in a group opens up additional perspectives: experiences are shared, patterns become more visible, and new ways of looking at one’s own situation become possible. The aim is to gain a well-founded assessment of one’s current position and greater clarity regarding career development opportunities.

Workshop: Women in Leadership

Leadership does not emerge in a vacuum. Women in leadership roles often operate within organisational cultures shaped by implicit expectations, traditional role models and structural dynamics. The question of how leadership can be shaped is therefore always a question of context.

In this workshop, participants will explore their own understanding of leadership: What strengths do I bring to the table? What attitude shapes my leadership behaviour? How do I deal with ambivalence, visibility, responsibility or conflicting expectations?

A systemic perspective helps to avoid hastily attributing challenges to the individual, but rather to understand them within the interplay of role, organisation and environment. At the same time, a strengths-focused approach enhances self-efficacy, reflective capacity and well-being as a leader. The aim is a conscious, reflective and sustainable form of leadership.

Group coaching: development through dialogue

Some career-related issues are best addressed through discussion with others. Group coaching combines individual reflection with peer learning and creates a framework in which women can explore professional issues on an ongoing basis and in greater depth.

Typical topics include career reorientation, role and positioning, work-life balance, coping with stress, preparing for new responsibilities, and questions regarding visibility and effectiveness within an organisational context. Structural experiences – such as a lack of appreciation, role conflicts or gender-based assumptions – can also be addressed.

Group coaching creates a learning space in which different perspectives become apparent and individual resources can be utilised more consciously. The aim is not merely to resolve individual issues, but to develop clarity, self-confidence and sustainable professional agency.

Frequently asked questions

Group formats are ideal for women who wish to reflect on their career development not only individually but also through dialogue with others. The perspectives of others can be particularly valuable during periods of career reorientation, when taking on a leadership role, or when grappling with questions about one’s role, visibility and effectiveness.
